I thought a great initial post for sight based on a name might be a collection of all things Gordy on the Web. I know, you are thinking you could get this same list by just googling for Gordy… but not without my commentary!

Those who truly know the Incredible Gulk will immediately understand why I would list this baseball player first. Those who don’t will assume I like baseball.

Somewhat regretfully, I find that the Wikipedia page for Gordy doesn’t (as of June 2009) have a disambiguation page, but rather heads straight for the swine page. I was a little disappointed to learn there are some continuity mistakes.

As I went down this little self promoting search, I found it interesting the large number of Gordy’s that are involved in music, starting right at the top with Berry Gordy (a surname, but a Gordy all the same), King Gordy (rap), Gordy Quist (folk/country), and many others.

Finally, I’m sure my cousins would be disappointed if I were to forget Professional Wrestling.
